What an absolutely stunning cottage the Apricot Tree is a definite gem.The whole cottage is finished to a really high standard and was spotlessly clean and welcoming.The garden, although it was winter, is beautiful with the most incredible views of Carisbrooke Castle. I can imagine how beautiful it would look sat on the large decking area of the cottage in the summer months.Location wise, Newport is central to the island so very easy to explore everywhere. There was a couple of pubs, local shop and Italian restaurant all within walking distance.The owners of Aprocot Tree Mike and Diana couldn't be more welcoming and helpful and Mike showed us how all the appliances heating etc worked which was a great help.The whole cottage is well equipped amd has everything you need for that home from home experience.I cannot praised Mike and Dianna enough for the care and attention to detail they have put into this little gem.It was definitely by far the best cottage we have had the privilege of staying in. We will definitely be going back to this perfect little cottage
