Red Squirrel Cottage was all that we could have asked for. Extremely well fitted out, super clean and comfortable. And we saw its namesake on the balcony.There is good walking from the door to Ventnor and Niton along the coastal path.Whitwell itself is nice enough but doesn't offer a great deal except one pub which wasn't that good.

A fabulous time at Red Squirrel Cottage. Karen was so helpful in making arrangements beforehand, and nothing was too much trouble. A delicious hamper, packed full of local goodies awaited our arrival and was a much appreciated gesture. Karen and Brendan made us feel so welcome during our stay, and were always on hand if any questions. Comfortable and spacious, the cottage is also in a beautiful location, with stunning walks both inland and down to the coast from the door. The hot tub was a welcome extra bit of luxury on our return from days out. We would love to return and definitely recommend.

Had a great weeks holiday in red squirrel cottage. The cottage was immaculate and spotless when we arrived, and we were allowed to arrive early. Hot tub was fantastic. Nice pub round the corner, friendly staff and fantastic food. Cannot fault anything. And Karen, the owner is friendly and helpful
