Cedars in Canterbury is a well-regarded holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, convenient location, and friendly owner. Guests appreciate its proximity to local attractions and transport links, making it an ideal base for exploring Kent. While some guests suggest room for improvement in comfort and modernisation, the property is generally seen as good value for money and a peaceful retreat.
The property is consistently described as clean, with multiple reviews affirming its tidiness. One review specifically mentions the property being 'clean and well equipped', contributing to a high cleanliness score.
The location is highly praised for its excellent area, easy parking, and great transport links. Its proximity to Canterbury and North-East Kent attractions, as well as the convenience for visiting various locales, supports a high location score.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests found the accommodation comfortable, others noted issues such as a stuffy upstairs area and a lack of modernisation. However, the positive mentions of comfortable bedrooms contribute to a fairly positive score.
Facilities are generally seen as adequate, with mentions of a well-equipped property. However, there are comments about maintenance issues like a leaking fridge and lack of hot water upstairs, which slightly lower the score.
There is a mention of a welcome bottle of wine, but as gifts are not consistently referenced across the reviews, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that while some guests appreciated the gesture, such gifts are not guaranteed.

The accommodation is reflected in the price. Located in an excellent area on the outskirts of Canterbury. Perfect for visiting Canterbury & North-East Kent. Sturry Park & Ride just down the road & great rail links. (£4 to park the car + 4 passengers) payable at the machine. Our host was very welcoming & informative.

Cedars is a lovely place to stay and the owner is lovely. Cedars is ideal for travelling to other places around Canterbury and we have stayed at Cedars numerous times and we will stay there again.
