Whitstable is famous for its’ ‘Native Oysters’, which were collected from beds beyond the low watermark from Roman times until the mid-20th century. The annual Whitstable Oyster Festival takes place during the summer and oysters are still very popular and available moments from your doorstep. Whitstable is what tourists think of when they picture a quaint English seaside town. There are numerous excellent restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Whitstable’s Harbour and beach is located right outside your front door and a minute’s walk away, as are local shops for everything you could need.
Sea Scape is a spacious, detached property located in the conservation area, finished to a very high standard with plenty of room for four people to stay. It has been beautifully furnished and renovated in 2021 with oak flooring and a plethora of Farrow & Ball colours. Whip up some fantastic meals in the modern kitchen and enjoy quality time together around the dining table in the conservatory. There is also a large courtyard garden, set up for dining. When you arrive, there is no need to try and locate a parking space as this is one of the few properties in the heart of Whitstable to have parking for 2/3 cars. If you are looking to visit the lovely town of Whitstable, this is the ideal place to stay.

Seascape is in an excellent location for walking to harbour, beach or town centre. Easy parking for 2 cars is a bonus. House is clean and well presented. Kitchen is well equipped. Owners were approachable and friendly and pleased to help. Conservatory is set up as dining area and table and chairs n garden practical for all fresco dining. The 3 piece garden suite featured in garden pictures is now tired and showing its age. Practical solutions to improve garden comfort and shade would earn the property the full 5 stars. That said I would not hesitate to return. The overall condition and location of property are a positive factor in any holiday. The Quayside pub next door is well managed, air conditioned, and serves good food. There is some noise, particularly at weekends but this didn't detract from our holiday. In fact I thought it was an added benefit. I would enjoy returning to this property and would recommend to family and friends.

This was our third visit to Seascape, which should say it all! The position is perfect with the harbour just across the road and the main street to the left as you leave the property. Having space to park two cars behind a locked gate is a huge bonus in Whitstable. Richard is very pro-active - we had a light bulb blow and he came and fixed it that day.
