Guests say

Barn Terrace offers a peaceful countryside retreat with spacious, well-equipped accommodation and beautiful surroundings. Guests appreciate the quiet location, secure gardens, and proximity to local attractions. The games room and outdoor spaces are popular, and the property is generally comfortable and homely. Some guests have noted areas for improvement, such as cleanliness, maintenance, and occasional lack of personal touches, but the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Several guests found the property clean and comfortable, but others reported issues such as dust, stained rugs, dirty windows, and neglected areas. Cleanliness appears inconsistent, with some stays marred by lack of attention to detail.

The location is widely praised for its tranquillity, beautiful countryside, and convenient access to Folkestone, Canterbury, and local attractions. Guests value the peaceful setting and secure gardens.

Most guests found the cottage spacious and beds comfortable, but some mentioned uncomfortable or worn-out mattresses, tired furniture, and occasional damp smells. Comfort is generally good, with some room for improvement.

The property is well-equipped, with a popular games room and good amenities. However, guests noted maintenance issues such as broken appliances, worn-out games equipment, and minor repairs needed. Facilities are appreciated but could benefit from more regular upkeep.

Some guests received thoughtful touches such as a Christmas tree, wine, and chocolates, but these are not guaranteed. Others felt the property lacked a personal welcome or basic extras. The experience varies depending on the stay.
