Broadstairs, named after the “broad stairs” carved in the cliff that led from the sands to the 12th century shrine of St Mary, boasts seven beaches, three of which are holders of the coveted 2010 Blue flag Award presented to Europe’s top coastal destinations. Ron’s House overlooks one such award winning beach - the quiet sandy “Stone Bay” offering 200 metres of golden sand, rock pools and a promenade. The property has some wonderful sea views, the kitchen/breakfast room has been fully renovated in 2022 and the bathroom in 2021 making this an amazing place to spend your holidays!.
Broadstairs popular Folk Week Festival runs annually in August, and if you’re visiting Broadstairs with teenagers then Revolution Skate Park which operates out of Viking Bay is well worth a visit. There are also climbing and BMX sessions available. For walkers and cyclists alike, join the Thanet Coast Viking Trail – part of route 15 of the National Cycle Trail, and no trip to Broadstairs would be complete without a visit to a seafront ice cream parlour and watching the dazzling fireworks on a summer evening. Great House ..Great Location Clean neat and super spacious house by the sea …all our needs met for a family of 9 as everything has been carefully thought about for a very comfortable stay. A surprise welcome of treats left for us on arrival too! This was our 2nd stay at Ron’s House and didn’t disappoint !Clean sparkling bathrooms .. we also particularly love the bright open plan kitchen / dining and chill out area next to the games room.. It looks out over a lovely tidy garden. We are already looking at dates to book our 3rd stay for next year. Wonderful sea views from the windows of the lovely decorated front bedrooms capture the AMAZING sun rises.✨What a location ! so close to the beach… in a quiet area too and only a short walk to local amenities ! Thank you so much .. a lovely family time spent at Ron’s House 🙂
