Wow, what can I say ? We throughly enjoyed our time at this cottage. From getting there to leaving. Everything was amazing. When we opened up we were greeted by some dog treats for our dog, tea and coffee station filled up, a pint of milk in the fridge and some biscuits to have alongside it. After getting very wet before checking in, that made us feel extremely welcome. The place was clean and had mostly everything you needed. The shower is perfect and has 2 different types of shower heads to choose from. The rain one was our favourite. A washing machine is provided and we did use this, a great added detail. There is a washing line outside, however as we had come late October, a clothes airer could have come in handy as we did struggle to dry the clothes with just one radiator in the bathroom. (Rest of the place is heat pumped.) The location is great, very quiet and peaceful and not far from the A30. Even though the owners live across the way, you hardly noticed. One thing we did find, again coming late October, it was very dark at night. Unfortunately we couldn't use the private garden past darkness as there wasn't any lights to light it up. The drive is lit by auto lights so we would walk our dog up the drive instead. But it would have been nice to go into the garden. Some lights like on the driveway would be amazing in the back garden. Overall we had a fabulous time and are looking to re book again for next October. Thank you for a great stay.

We booked Gwel an Koos based on location and cost and it was a good choice. Although not too close, it is very easy to access the A30 dual carriageway from where you can visit any part of Cornwall. There is a large ASDA supermarket within a 5 minute drive for groceries. There are plenty of EV charging points also within a 5 minute drive. Although situated close to these amenities, Gwel an Koos is in a very quiet location. It is situated within the grounds of the owners' residence but in such a way that you hardly notice and you have the added convenience of help being close at hand if there are any problems - which there weren't. Inside, the accommodation is modern, uncluttered and very clean. The washing machine and washing line in the private garden were very useful.
