When we arrived we found the property damp and cold. It seemed that know one had rented the property or had not been in for sometime. If the cleaners are employed to clean, we think they either carry out cheaply or don't know what clean means. I did look through the various instructions to put the heating on, which mean no sense. I rang the on call number and the gentleman was very helpful. We tried to use the fridge and it would not turn. So I had the gentleman back and again he was helpful but I could not locate the switch, until I pulled the fridge out, which then pulled a load of rubbish out from underneath. We could not locate a dust pan and brush to pick the rubbish up with. There is paint peeling off nearly every room in the cottage. If the cottage is designed to sleep 4 people, they will need to share mugs and glasses. Will we stay there again, no chance not even if you pay us too.

Lovely comfortable character cottage in a great location, but let down by being on a building site - which we were not warned about. Had issue with the heating on arrival which were promptly sorted by the owner that evening. Builders were considerate but should have been told before booking that there were houses being built directly outside. If no builders would definitely recommend!

Lovely warm cosy cottage with bath and plenty of hot water. Good access to Fowey and the coastal paths. Disappointed to see no attempt at Christmas decorations, no welcoming tea tray, not even milk in the fridge. Ollie, the local contact was very helpful and responsive. The kitchen needs more investment, the pots and pans are of a poor standard and there are no serving dishes. Fowey is delightful, the people are very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas holiday.
