Please note: There is a steep drop from the terrace. There are 10 steps at the rear.. This immaculately presented, adjoining holiday home boasts one of the most enviable views in Cornwall. It sits on the edge of the beautiful Fowey Estuary overlooking the mouth of the river, out across the sea, and across to Polruan. The house has an elevated terrace, perfect to enjoy the views. There is a sandy beach and paddling pool a few yards away, and the southwest coastal path passes in front of the property. The porch offers beautiful views and an additional sitting area, perfect if you need a quiet space to work or read.
Fowey has much to offer, from restaurants to riverside cafes, galleries that showcase local artists and artisans, to tea rooms and local shops. There is an annual literary festival in May, also in August, the Royal Regatta. The property is not far away from the Eden Project, a popular visitor attraction. Fishing is also available nearby. Shops 200 yards, pub 250 yards.

There are no sea views from the twin bedroom. The fan in the boiler room of the adjoining property emits a humming sound which may be heard in the twin bedroom.

Would throughly recommend Tides Reach. The views of the harbour and out to sea are absolutely beautiful. The weather was rather changeable, so we enjoyed bird watching and the changing light over the estuary and sea on stormy days. The apartment itself is spacious, light, clean and well equipped.Fowey is lovely, albeit very quiet in early February. Tides Reach is well situated for coastal walks, some of which can be accessed via the frequent ferries across to Polruan and Boddinick. We had a great time and hope to return.

This is one of the best apartments my husband and I have stayed in. It was very well appointed for 4 people, spotlessly clean throughout, a full set of glasses, crockery, cutlery etc... in the kitchen. The owners provided a comprehensive set of guides to Fowey and surrounding areas, plenty of books, DVDs, games, etc... if the weather dictates indoor activities. It is self-evident that the owners take great pride in this apartment. From the bay windows there is a great view overlooking the Fowey River and Polruan on the other side, and in fair weather the terrace would be a splendid place to relax and admire the view. The town centre is a 15-minute stroll away, as is Readymoney Cove in the opposite direction. If and when we visit Fowey in the future we will be sure to try and book this again.

Wonderful happy and relaxing week at Christmas time in this very well positioned apartment with excellent views across the estuary and out to sea. Very spacious, comfortable, warm and well equipped. Parking space a real bonus. Fowey is a friendly waterside small town with lots of character. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and interesting shops. Great walking area. We had a great time and this apartment highly recommended. Many clients are repeat bookings.
