The Stable in Launceston is highly praised for its peacefulness, cleanliness, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as wine and chocolates, and the property's suitability for dogs. Its rural charm and proximity to scenic spots make it a recommended stay for a relaxing holiday.
Guests consistently mention the property being spotlessly clean and tidy, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage.
The location is appreciated for its tranquility and beautiful views, though some guests noted a lack of local amenities within walking distance. Its proximity to various places to visit is seen as a positive aspect.
The majority of guests found the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of good sleep quality and a well-equipped kitchen. One comment about bed comfort suggests a slight variance in guest preferences.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being well-equipped, especially the kitchen. However, there is a single mention of basic decoration, which suggests room for improvement.
Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures, such as welcome gifts, which contribute to the overall experience. While these gifts are warmly received, they are a courtesy and not guaranteed for every stay.

Lovely few days away, Cottage in middle of nowhere, so if you like driving down country roads you'll be fine. Loved the upside down layout. Bed not the comfiest I've slept in. Bathroom Lovely and clean. Kitchen fully equipped with items you need to cook whilst away.Would we book again? Yes without a doubt!

What a brilliant place to stay, particularly if you have dogs! The grounds around the stable conversion are really nicely kept... and then there's the huge field leading down to a large natural pond, teeming with wild life, which has wide swathes cut through. It also has a summer house you can use whilst the dogs exercise themselves in the well-fenced field! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodation is perfect for dog owners too... stone floors downstairs with rugs and wooden, rugged floors upstairs. Everywhere was really comfortable but not so precious that you couldn't relax. All in all, we would happily recommend this lovely place for a relaxing break. It should be noted that it is also ideal for easy access for both the north and south coast of Cornwall. We spent a day at the Eden Project... mostly (except the Biodomes) dog friendly... near St. Austell, A brilliant few hours in a beautiful and informative location... so please consider that as a destination!
