Adventure across the narrow cobbled causeway to St Michael's Mount at low waters, or hop on the ferry which takes you to the tiny harbour, with pretty cottages, a restaurant, shop, cafe and fortress atop, all set against the beautiful backdrop of sea and sky. Sea Breeze is stylishly presented in serene hues with an open plan interior and contemporary furnishings and equipped with a range of books and DVD's at hand. The living room opens out onto the balcony with table and chairs, a haven for lazy breakfasts and pre-dinner drinks, a place to bask amid the ever-changing sea vista beyond.
Drive ten miles to the picture-perfect harbour town of St Ives with its charming streets and thriving art scene of quirky gift shops, galleries and divine restaurants and foodie inns, beaches of glorious golden sand and exhilarating coastal walks. The drama of the open-air Minack Theatre, cut precariously from the granite cliff face and jutting out to sea, giving a magical aura whether you are sight-seeing or watching a performance against the sunset skies is a must-do experience. Land's End, famed for its legendary coastline, has much to offer during sunshine and showers.
Marazion in Mounts Bay is a buzzing seaside community with a large stretch of beautiful golden beach for sandcastles, swims and boating adventures. Enjoy the restaurants, galleries and coffee houses. St Michaels Mount is the iconic part time isle reached via a cobbled causeway at low tide or ferry jaunt at high water.

The apartment is very well equipped and beautifully presented. A wonderful welcome tray of goodies greeted me on arrival which was much appreciated. There are great views over Mounts Bay from the balcony, perfect to sit out in an evening to watch the sun go down. Situated just minutes walk to the local shops, cafes and pubs itâs all thatâs needed for a very relaxing holiday.

Buses outside the door, as well. Mary, the owner, was extremely helpful on the phone, and it was nice to get a few bits of food on our arrival - milk, scones, jam, clotted cream, bubbly. Our only reservation was the parking: the website indicated that parking on-site was possible on a first-come basis, but in practice there was only a space one day, even though the school holidays had finished. The car park about 3 minutes' walk away was £12 for 24 hours, or £50 for the week, which we didn't expect (and we found the app required was not the best). Minor, but irritating.... Oh, and hardly the owners' fault, but bad luck that the weather, after 2 months of unremitting sun turned into a week of torrential showers, driven by very strong winds!!
