A truly warm welcome awaits you at this beautifully restored Cornish farmhouse dating back to a sale deed of 1278. Constructed of granite and nestling in a mature and colourful garden, Tregadjack Farmhouse is finished to an exceptional standard and filled with period antiques. The gardens feature exotic sub-tropical plants and the south facing conservatory commands a wonderful countryside view across to the sea at Mounts Bay.
Upon entering Tregadjack Farmhouse, swathed in wisteria, the warm ambience, roaring wood burning stoves, solid granite stone walls, polished slate floors, thick rugs and tasteful soft furnishings provide the perfect Cornish welcome. The sitting room features a huge inglenook fireplace with the first of two wood burning stoves, deep comfortable sofas and beautiful antique furniture. The dining room, filled with antique oak furniture is the perfect setting for your special occasion dinners, enjoyed in front of a second cosy wood burning stove. Meal preparation is a joy in the stunning farmhouse kitchen with its Aga, central island, slate floor and fitted with all the mod cons you would expect from such an exceptional property. You won't need to worry about dinner on arrival however, as a generous complimentary welcome hamper awaits you including a mouth-watering home made fish pie ready to pop in the Aga, and irresistible home baked chocolate brownies! The adjoining south facing oak garden room is a lovely addition where you can enjoy the views of the exotic sub-tropical gardens and distant sea; and with its twinkling fairy lights, is just as magical to enjoy a pre-dinner drink as evening falls. Holiday laundry can be kept out of sight and mind in the utility room with Belfast sink and drying area.
Upstairs the comfort and attention to detail continues with antique mahogany beds, deep comfortable mattresses and luxury linens. Sash windows, wooden shutters, antique furniture and object d’art provide exceptional finishing touches to this lovely country home. Fluffy towels are provided along with towelling dressing gowns and a good selection of complimentary toiletries.
The farmhouse is set in a secluded spot just five miles from the coast, surrounded by rolling countryside, and is approached via a long private drive with parking for two cars. Views reach across open fields to the Helston Steam Railway and, on the far horizon you can glimpses the sea (take a nostalgic ride on the restored Helston Railway which will stop for you at the bottom of the garden!).The front garden is planted with dramatic palms and sub-tropical plants (more often seen abroad) and has a patio area with outdoor seating and barbecue. Dogs are most welcome and can enjoy the wonderful walks in and around this area, including the south west coastal footpath covering the entire coastline of Cornwall.
Nearby is the pretty harbour of Porthleven, with a host of excellent restaurants and pubs, also a super fishmongers and crab shop, or why not catch your own on a fishing trip? Tregadjack Barn, sleeping four guests is also available to book for larger groups.

Lovely cottage, our second stay here, very comfortable throughout and feels so welcoming to have a fish pie, brownies and welcome basket on arrival. Great location too, very peaceful and off the beaten track, but really very close to towns and beaches.

I couldnât fault this cottage, homely, warm, spotlessly clean and welcoming and lovely food prepared for our arrival. Hosts friendly and on hand for any questions. Lovely part of Cornwall, beautiful Porthleven beach, lots of local art and walks from the door. Our dogs were absolutely exhausted after a week at Tregadjack.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Tregadjack farmhouse. Such a thoughtful welcome pack with a beautiful fish pie and brownies. Every detail thought out to help you settle in straight away without needing to rush out to the shops. The house itself is wonderful, spacious, clean and comfortable. The garden is like being in your own little tropical paradise and having access to the field in front was great for our children and dog. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend booking. Chris and Phil were great hosts, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It is definitely the best stay we have had so far! Thank you.
