Spend time at Loe Beach, taking in the coastal scenery and watching the boats on the water before stopping for an ice cream by the shore, if you fancy getting out on the water, paddle boarding and kayaking are also available, while the beach provides a lovely setting to enjoy the fresh sea air at your own pace.

Explore the Roseland Heritage Coast, where scenic footpaths lead towards the lighthouse and open up to panoramic coastal views, or make your way to Veor Cove to take in the rocky shoreline and watch the waves rolling in. Spend a relaxing day at National Trust - Trelissick Garden, where you can wander through the floral gardens, browse the art gallery and bookshop, stop at the café for refreshments, or enjoy the peaceful riverside woodland setting. With its eclectic range of art galleries, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and outstanding cathedral this small city is a superb year round destination. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.
