In addition there is a paddock for exercising your canine friend.

If you can bear to leave, Chygowlin House is ideally situated for exploring all parts of Cornwall. Within a short drive are the beautiful sandy beaches and dramatic cliffs of the north coast and the meandering creeks and tidal moorings of the Roseland Peninsula. For those who love the outdoors, this is an excellent destination. Walkers and naturalists will love the scenic footpaths along the nearby creeks and inlets of the Truro and Falmouth rivers. The National Trust owned woodland park at Trelissick and the sub-tropical gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah, are well worth a visit, not to mention The Eden Project, Cornwall's spectacular global garden. Bissoe Cycle Hire and Loe Beach Watersports Centre are also nearby. Truro is the retail centre of Cornwall with a good range of independent shops as well as national stores all within a compact city centre. With its eclectic range of art galleries, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and outstanding cathedral this small city is a superb year round destination. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.
