After a day exploring the scenic beauty of St Mawes and the surrounding Roseland Peninsula, guests will find themselves perfectly placed to relax and take in the charm of this unspoilt corner of Cornwall. St Mawes itself is a picturesque harbour village, known for its boutique shops, excellent restaurants, and the historic St Mawes Castle, a well-preserved Tudor fortress offering panoramic views across the Fal Estuary.

Beyond the village lies the Roseland Peninsula, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty celebrated for its rolling countryside, secluded coves, and coastal paths. The village and peninsula offer a wealth of activities for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, including the Southwest Coast Path and other walking trails, wild swimming spots, kayaking in secluded creeks, sailing and gardens such as Lamorran in the village or the National Trust’s Trelissick nearby. Traditional Cornish villages like Portscatho and St Just in Roseland, with its idyllic waterside church, provide further opportunities to explore the area’s heritage and tranquil beauty, and the St Mawes Ferry connects the village with Falmouth.

After a day of discovery, return to the comfort of the house and enjoy the peaceful setting, with the comfortable lounge, kitchen offering Nesppresso coffee machine, dining room and all three cosy bedrooms having stunning sea views. This spacious, comfortable house has outstanding views from every window. It's easy to spend hours sitting by the lounge picture window, enjoying watching what is happening on the water. Parking on site is excellent too. St. Mawes has pubs, restaurants, shops, a castle and a frequent ferry to Falmouth and Place for walks over St Anthony's Head. The waterside walk to St. Just has stunning views. There are also convenient buses to Truro. The only slight downside is the kitchen storage needs attention and visitors should be aware the WiFi does not reach the whole house.

Great property in a fantastic location. The view through the large lounge window is wonderful and from first floor bedroom windows equally stunning. The property throughout was very clean , warm and very well equipped. Fabulously comfortable beds. The only slight negative is the shower room. While clean and functional it is very small and somewhat unworthy of such a great property.
