If you take a stroll past the play area, through a gate, and into the woodland, you’ll reach the Quay, a peaceful spot to enjoy the scenery. Along the way, be sure to pause at a bench with outstanding views of St Mawes—a perfect place to take in the breathtaking landscape. For beach lovers, a family-friendly beach is just a two-minute drive or a 15-minute walk away. With a lovely tearoom and essential facilities, it’s easy to spend an entire day by the shore, soaking up the sun and enjoying the calm waters.

We went to the Hut Hotel as a family of 5. We fell in love with the stunning views of the fields and the sea. The equipment is wonderful, they have everything including everything you need for a beach trip and rainy days in. They have games for people to use, the towels and linen were clean and comfortable. The bathroom, although very dates, functional and had soap and toilet roll. The kitchen is fully equipped too and we loved the fridge and the freezer which have plenty of space to store lots of frozen goods. We also loved the throws that they had placed around the hut, they were very useful. Our only complaint would be the lack of reception in the hut/area. We couldn't use our phones or make calls at all when we were inside the hut! Or just outside either! We would also complain about the sofas, they were uncomfortable. We would definitely return to the area, possibly the Hut if we wanted to disconnect with the whole world.Although we went in the hight of summer, I can see that it would also be great in the winter, especially Christmas time if it was decorated. We love it and would recommend it.
