It has magnificent sea views overlooking the St Mawes castle, village, harbour and out to sea, a perfect place to watch the world sail by! Imagine an evening glass of wine, sitting on the balcony, with those amazing views and the sun drifting down over St Mawes Castle, the light glistening across St Mawes Bay and yachts at anchor! The beautiful mature and private gardens offer a large outdoor dining area with a balcony, patio and gas BBQ for alfresco dining alongside huge grass lawns with mature flower beds making them a joy to spend time in! It is also an ideal location for those wanting to get out on the water as it is just a 5-minute walk to the St Mawes Sailing Club Quay. St Mawes is ideal for those of you wanting to get in the water for sailing lessons, boat hire, water sports eg paddle boards, kayaks, RIB hire, fishing trips or taking a relaxing ferry ride to one of many local exciting destinations it is all on your doorstep. We booked for a week and we had a great time. The communication from Melanie and Alan who run the house was fantastic. There was a heating teething problem and they sorted it out very quickly, and excellent service and didn’t affect the week at all. The house is a little tired but we no complaints re the layout and facilities.A few cobwebs in the rooms but not an issue. Very dog friendly too! We love St Mawes and this house is highly recommended.

A charming 1920’s house with fantastic views across the Fal estuary to Pendennis Castle and Falmouth.Very much a “lived in” house but with young grandchildren and an elderly mother, absolutely ideal for our needs.Three generations took advantage of an early morning sea swim in safe and clean water only a short walk below the house. This house would definitely be top of our list for another holiday in St Mawes!
