As morning light fills the cabin, open the doors and wander onto the elevated two-level decking. With garden furniture on both levels, there’s always the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee at sunrise or a glass of wine as the sky turns pink at dusk. From this vantage point, the countryside comes alive, deer roam quietly through the fields and wildlife drifts past in a scene that feels wonderfully untouched.
Just under a mile away, the historic Nobody Inn awaits with its centuries-old charm, crackling fires and hearty food, ideal after a day of exploring. A couple of miles up the road lies Haldon Forest, a haven for walkers and cyclists, offering woodland trails, panoramic viewpoints and family adventures among the trees. If you fancy the coast, Dawlish is under 30 minutes away, where sandy beaches, traditional seaside charm and the famous railway line along the sea provide the perfect change of scenery.
