A spacious apartment being part of a large Victorian house conversion. Located in an exclusive area of the town and with the added advantage of on-site parking. The property is only a 10-minute walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants and has lovely river views, out to sea and the castle.

Excellent flat to spend a week, the view over the estuary and harbour is superb and the space is generous.There are a few small things that need attention but that does not stop me from giving the flat a five star rating.

The address was easy to find and, contrary to some reviews, parking was also very easy with the allocated car space. The shrub border alongside would benefit greatly from a trim though, as it made it impossible to get out on one side or other without encroaching on the adjacent parking space.The joint access for for the two apartments was a little tired and rundown but on entering 12a what a pleasant surprise! The accommodation was excellent, comfortably equipped with everything you might expect for a great stay, and the view across Dartmouth was simply superb.The only downside I can see is, that being located on a steep stretch of road, it maybe be heavy going for people with certain health or mobility issues. Overall I would heartily recommend 12a Mount Boone to anyone thinking of a stay in the area. Dartmouth is a lovely little town with plenty to see and do, while there we enjoyed a trip on the steam railway and boat trips on the river. There are plenty of other places nearby to explore especially if you have an interest in some of the local history.......

It was a bit chilly in the evenings. Didn’t need the heating on but a cozy blanket to cover our need would be a good idea!
