Later, wander into the fully-equipped kitchen/diner to rustle up a hearty meal that the whole family can enjoy around the dining table. When the evening draws to a close, wash off the day in either the shower room or ground-floor bathroom before sloping off to sleep in one of three bedrooms; choose between a ground-floor twin or the king-size or bunk on the first floor. Slapton Sands is a two-mile stretch of beach in the heart of the South Hams in South Devon, and the pristine quiet village of Slapton is just inland from the nature reserve at Slapton Ley. The Queens Arms is located in a beautiful, tranquil area and is home to two fantastic eateries. The beach, which goes all the way to the town of Torcross and is popular with families, is patrolled by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (rnli) during the summer months, and attracts people from all over to see the wildlife that lives there. Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, and Salcombe, three of the area's most well-liked towns, are conveniently close by. A perfect place to relax on the beach or go for a walk.
