Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings and well-equipped kitchen, making it a cosy base for exploring Dorset.
Most guests found the property clean, with some noting it was spotless and sanitised. However, a few mentioned the need for a deeper clean, particularly under beds and in the oven, and occasional pet odours, which slightly lowered the score.
The location is highly praised for its peaceful village setting, proximity to walks, the beach, and a friendly local pub. Its easy access to Weymouth and other attractions in Dorset makes it an ideal spot for holidaymakers.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and sofas, as well as the spaciousness of the property. Some minor criticisms about decor and furniture do not significantly detract from the overall comfort enjoyed by visitors.
The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and guests appreciate the inclusion of a washer/dryer. Criticisms include the need for maintenance, such as fixing showers and updating garden furniture, which suggests room for improvement.
Guests have mentioned a kind gift of wine upon arrival, indicating a level of thoughtfulness. However, as not all reviews mention gifts and to ensure expectations are managed, it's noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.
