We would absolutely recommend this cider barn to anyone. We had such a lovely time there. The barn itself is beautiful, cosy, and wonderfully warm – especially with the log fire going. It was very well equipped with everything we needed, and the shower was amazing! The ceiling windows were such a special touch – it was so lovely lying there and looking up at the stars. The hosts were fantastic and incredibly thoughtful, especially towards our children. We received a lovely welcome pack on arrival with apple juice, cookies, coffee, tea, and fruit tea – such a kind and generous touch. The location is perfect, particularly if you enjoy walking and exploring. You’re close to Puzzlewood and the beautiful Forest of Dean, including the popular Room on the Broom Trail. There’s so much to do nearby. We explored a few of the local towns, visited charity shops, and found great play areas for the kids. It’s not a busy, towny sort of place – it’s more peaceful, forest living. In the summer, I can imagine sitting outside with a lovely glass of wine, enjoying how calm and quiet it is. It really is a perfect place to unwind. And the alpacas are so friendly and adorable!Thank you so much to the hosts for such a fantastic stay. We truly had a wonderful time.

Can’t recommend the Cider barn enough. Very cute, nestled in the countryside with Alpacas in the field at the back. We arrived very late and the hosts had stayed to meet us gave us lots of helpful information on walks and places to visit/eat. They went above and beyond, even helping with charging the car which was very kind. We stayed in February and the cottage was very cosy and warm. Extremely well kitted out and the shower/bathroom is stunning. Beds were lovely and comfortable. We are hoping to return in the summer.
