Guests say

The Street Cottage in Uley receives glowing praise for its immaculate cleanliness, charming décor, and cosy atmosphere. Guests consistently highlight the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches such as welcome treats and fresh flowers, though these are not guaranteed. The location is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds, with a friendly village shop and pub nearby. While the steep stairs may pose a challenge for those with mobility issues, most guests found the cottage spacious and inviting, making it a delightful base for a countryside getaway.

Cleanliness is repeatedly described as immaculate, spotless, and super clean by nearly every reviewer, with no significant complaints noted.

The cottage is praised for its picturesque village setting, proximity to local amenities, and excellent access to walks and Cotswold attractions. Only minor mentions of busy roads and parking being tight at times.

Guests frequently mention comfortable beds, cosy living spaces, and a warm atmosphere. The main negative is the steep stairs, which may not suit those with limited mobility.

The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen essentials, a log burner, and modern bathroom. Some minor maintenance issues (e.g., taps, back door, lack of washing machine) are mentioned but do not detract from overall satisfaction.

Many guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome cakes, bread, milk, and flowers, though it should be noted these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Wonderful cottage and perfectly located for our walking weekend. Much more spacious than we were expecting as the rooms are spread over three floors. That being said. as I'm 6' 5", some of the ceilings and door frames required my attention. However, this undeniably added to the charm and character of the place. Also, the owner was a delight to deal with.

A beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean cosy cottage in a peaceful rural village. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and the friendly owner made us feel very welcome. Would love to return!

Lovely cottage, quiet location. Hill fort walk just just outside front door. Local shop sold everything and had the friendliest staff. Comfortable and clean cottage.
