On the first floor you can find an elegant double bedroom, and on the second-floor two more double bedrooms.
The cottage is nestled in the pretty village of Uley, a short drive from the bustling market town of Stroud in the Gloucestershire countryside. Set on the outside fringes of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are a number of trails for walking and cycling opportunities to get involved with such as the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way and Stroudwater Canal Walk. Close by is an art cafe, a local village shop, and a local pub serving delicious food, as well as the famous Uley Bury, a local village church, along the Cotswold walk way.
Make sure you visit the nearby town of Stroud for its award-winning farmer’s market, considered to be one of the most popular in the UK. The Stroud district is home to a range of historic houses, such as the 12th century Berkeley Castle, the Elizabethan manor house of Chavenage House, and the Grade listed Frampton Court.

The cottage was very comfortable and ideally situated for visiting local places of interest. The stairs are very steep and probably would be a problem for people with mobility issues and young children although we managed very well with care. We had an issue with the fridge but the owner Niki dealt with this for us promptly. We found the local shop very useful and we had a lovely meal in the village pub The Old Crown.

Wonderful cottage and perfectly located for our walking weekend. Much more spacious than we were expecting as the rooms are spread over three floors. That being said. as I'm 6' 5", some of the ceilings and door frames required my attention. However, this undeniably added to the charm and character of the place.Also, the owner was a delight to deal with.

A beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean cosy cottage in a peaceful rural village. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and the friendly owner made us feel very welcome. Would love to return!
