We had a lovely stay. The cottage was very clean and tidy with everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and the garden well kept with a lovely patio are with table and chairs. It is in the centre of the village with shops, pubs and chinese takeaway within walking distance. The coast is not far away and there is lots to do close by. It is on a main road however we didn't notice the noise once inside.

Pete’s place is set in a lovely village which has everything you need. A shop, post office, tea room and two pubs and local brewery. And is only 5 miles from Taunton on a decent bus route. The cottage itself is beautiful. One of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautifully laid out and furnished and comfortable and felt like home really quickly. The hot tub and garden are equally beautiful. The hot tub is well maintained and was well used by us. 100% we would stay here again.

Gorgeous holiday home! Mix of traditional features and modern decor. Great village to explore from. Bishops Lydeard is a quaint village, lovely tea room, pub, paper shop and a very handy well stocked coop. Pete's place is perfect if you have dogs. We took Max, our Lab, and he loved the big safe and secure garden. We loved sitting on the patio each evening before heading out for food at some amazing local pub that super dog friendly.Karen, the host, was very helpful and on hand for any questions we had. Karen provides everything you could think of. Even waffle gowns in each bedroom for every guest. Which came in handy for the hot tub. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous home furnishings, a truly fabulous holiday home.
