Dolphin Heights is a very tastefully furnished apartment in the much sought after area of Wellswood, Torquay. As you arrive at the property you walk along the lit up walkway to the front door through the private enclosed garden area. As you enter the property through the hallway, the 3 bedrooms are on your left hand side. There is a very useful utility cupboard in the spacious hallway housing the washer/dryer as well as plenty of storage for your coats and shoes. The shower room is on your right hand side with power shower and a light up vanity mirror, as well as an additional separate second toilet. Directly in front is the doorway to the stylish open plan living/dining area with table and chairs looking out over the view, as well as a corner sofa and chair in the living area for relaxing and watching the 55’’ Smart TV. The kitchen is just off the dining area which is well equipped for all of your needs for a very comfortable stay. Torbay, known as the English Riviera has 22 miles of coastline, cliffs, coves, beaches and walks to explore. On your doorstep is Meadfoot Beach with amenities, 18 mins walk or 4 mins drive. A 380 yard stroll away, in what the locals refer to as "Wellswood Village", is a Co-op store, local pub - the Kents, a bakery with fresh bread and cakes baked daily on the premises, a family owned Deli - Me & Mrs Jones, and Portofino Italian Bar & Restaurant serving coffee, breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner. There is also a florist, hairdressers, and a post office.

27th sept - 4th Oct. We arrived and everything was so easy. The cottage was spotles with all ammenities. Located close to pubs and shops. Bed was heavenly. A real home from home. Communication with the host was fabulous. Thank you for making our stay fabulous. Izzy ***

Lovely base for exploring Devon. In a quiet area with a pub and a few shops just down the road. Space for a car and a nice area for sitting out of the weather is nice

We had a lovely stay at Dolphin Heights. The property was cleaned to a high standard on arrival and a lovely welcome basket, which was appreciated. The apartment has great natural light and is very airy. Worth noting the outside area has a picnic table and washing line in the garden area. We couldn't see them in the photos and were not mentioned in write-up, so brought camping chairs from home, but there was no need and obviously a plus to have. The furnishings are high quality and the place is very tastefully decorated and you can tell a lot of love has been put into the property. There is no dressing table in the main bedroom which would be helpful for future guests. Also note the mattresses are firm, we are used to medium ones, which is a personal choice, but they were comfortable enough.
