There’s even great speeds from the fibre-optic broadband throughout the house to help plan your days out.
If the inside isn’t enough, the garden is a real sun trap and wraps around the house offering you a choice of sitting areas including a large decked area with its own thatched beach retreat on it, an ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the sea views.
Sea Salt Lodge is close to many local attractions like Living Coasts, Torre Abbey Sands and the Harbour, of course if you want to venture further afield, other attractions like Paignton Zoo, Dartmouth and Dartmoor are only a short drive away.

As we approached the property it looked very neglected. The house was lovely and was clean and comfortable. Although the balcony looking out to sea from the lounge was dirty and the glass had green mould all over the bottom. We actually went out and cleaned it ourselves!!!Unfortunately one of the fridges was not working in the kitchen luckily there were two, and in the extreme heat we really could have done with both of the undercounter fridges working.BUT!!!!! The outside of the property was disappointing and in an awful state it was neglected and untidy. Weeds everywhere, the Astro turf was dirty and covered in weeds all round the edges. The little hut at the front was dirty and the roof was falling to pieces. The lovely rattan furniture was falling apart and the decking area was filthy. The barbecue although clean inside was completely rusty and looked uninviting. One of the highlights was supposedly the outside games room!!! BUT the pool table was unplayable as it was extremely uneven and tried to level but couldn’t and the baize was ripped and worn. We were so disappointed as it really wasn’t The football table was unusable as there was no ball .The property although it said it was on a hill was very very steep. As people of a certain age we had to drive everywhere as we couldn’t make the very steep hills. There were a few things that need attention The second fridge needs fixing. The curtain pole in lounge was coming away from the wall. The radiator in the main bathroom was leaking and rusty, needs attention. The furniture in the lounge needed cleaning as was stained.A good pressure washer on the decks is needed and a good amount of attention to the outside weeding etc.

We had an absolutely heavenly stay at Kates house! From the views to the beds to the kitchen to the peace and quiet, we cannot recommend this place enough. An ideal bolthole for 3 people but Id love to come back for a family holiday too. Kate was always very responsive and very kind! Dont hesitate to book - this is the most beautiful holiday home in Torbay

The top bathroom waste was broken, bottom toilet handle loose, freezer full of food, contact Kate as she said she would send the plumber around on Monday so we waited in and wasted a full day of our holiday and did not turn up at all, so I contacted Kate twice and she couldn’t have been bothered to reply back. Also we at to buy cleaning items to clean mircowave, toilets etc. The other problem is there used drawing pin on stairs rails and they was coming out and one went in my foot not happy because this could have been a child. The whole place inside and out needs a bit of TLC.
