We were looking for a quiet retreat after we had gotten married & just need some quiet downtime. We had the warmest welcome from Barry & Jackie. The location was perfect for us with amenities within a short drive. The facilities at Waverney were perfect and had everything we needed. The local information provided with the property was invaluable too. We had the best week and would 100% consider going back. Thank you Barry & Jackie.

We had a fantastic three-day stay at this lovely cottage with our two boys. It was the first holiday we had managed to have together as a family for several years, so it was really important to us, and the cottage provided the perfect setting. The property was beautiful, extremely well presented and clearly maintained to a very high standard. The large garden was a real highlight for the boys. They had plenty of space to run around and play, and the toys and games provided were a lovely added touch. The welcome package was a really thoughtful touch, and we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Barry and Jackie were fantastic. They greeted us personally, showed us around the property and made it clear that if we needed anything at all, we only had to ask.The cottage is in a lovely, peaceful location but is also ideally placed for exploring the local sights and attractions. It gave us the perfect balance of somewhere relaxing to come back to after a day out, while still being within easy reach of everything we wanted to visit. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better place for our first family holiday together in years. The cottage, the location and especially the hospitality from Barry and Jackie made our stay really special. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to return in the future.Louisa & Andy Dennington

We had a brilliant time. The cottage had amazing views, there were lots of nice walks and there was lots of wild life to see. Inside the Barn was immaculately clean and well thought out. There was enough room for the four of us to comfortably sit. Outside the back there was a large back garden with plenty of seating for all. At the front there were bi-folding doors that opened out onto a paved area with a table chairs and a bench. Barry and Jackie were wonderful hosts and nothing was to much trouble. We will return.
