Set between Shrewsbury and the historic town of Ludlow, which is just 11 miles away from the property, this semi-detached cottage offers couples a quiet place to get away from everything.

Great stay in this cosy, idyllic cottage, very close to places we had visited years before which I wanted to check out again. The cottage had everything and was great value. Plenty of eateries around - we had a power cut one evening and booked a fab local restaurant with no difficulty. The owner was very welcoming and helpful right throughout our stay. My wife and I had an excellent time at Lower Barn. Very cosy cottage, felt like a home from home. Good location for walks, and easy to drive to nearby towns like Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Ludlow for sightseeing and more hiking. Independent supermarket (Tuffins) in Craven Arms is within easy reach by car.

What a wonderful place Lower Barn is, it had everything we needed and more, the owner was always on hand if needed and gave us some great advice for walks and places to visit. It was perfect for us and I would highly recommend staying there. We will definitely be back.
