Guests say

Stallington Hall Farm is a charming, spacious cottage in a peaceful countryside setting, highly praised for its welcoming hosts, secure garden, and dog-friendly atmosphere. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy log fire, and relaxing hot tub. The property is ideally located for exploring local attractions and offers a comfortable home-from-home experience. While most reviews are very positive, a few guests noted issues with bed comfort and minor maintenance. Overall, the cottage is well-suited for families and dog owners seeking a relaxing rural retreat.

The majority of guests found the cottage very clean and well-presented, with several describing it as spotless. A small number of reviews mentioned minor dust or cobwebs, but these were exceptions rather than the norm.

The location is frequently described as beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for dog walks, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Guests appreciated the tranquil countryside setting while still being close to shops and activities.

Most guests found the cottage cosy, warm, and comfortable, enjoying the spacious layout and relaxing atmosphere. However, some reviews mentioned that the beds were too soft, small, or creaky, which affected sleep quality for a few visitors.

Facilities such as the hot tub, well-equipped kitchen, secure garden, and ample parking were highly valued. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, including occasional problems with radiators, taps, or WiFi, but these did not significantly detract from most stays.

The hosts are widely praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, often going out of their way to assist guests. However, several reviews noted the absence of a welcome pack or small gifts on arrival. While some guests suggested this would be a nice touch, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

The gardens are gorgeous and perfect for sitting out on a nice day. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day. The weather was very hot when we stayed and the owner was kind enough to keep the hot tub cool so we could use it more of a "cool" tub to relax with the bubbles but not overheat. Rooms were very generous in size. Kitchen was very well equipped, loads of different types of glasses, plates, pots etc. fridge and freezer was large. The owners have dogs who are very friendly however if you don't like dogs you would never see them. They were usually kept well away but my child loves dogs so the owners were kind enough to let them out when he asked so he could clap them (he actually cried on the last day having to leave them behind) Washing machine and drying line was fab to get clothes cleaned. We didn't really have any issues but any questions we had were always replied to in a timely manner by the owners. They were truly wonderful.
