South of Scarborough and Filey on Yorkshire's east coast is the seaside town of Bridlington. On either side of the old harbour, two award-winning beaches with golden sand are teeming with activity. Wonderfully constructed promenades provide everything from amusement parks to peaceful nooks where you may sit and people-watch. A interesting contrast to life on the beach, where the most recent episode of Dad's Army was recorded, Bridlington's shops, sights, restaurants, and historic "Old Town" can be found there. The Bridlington Spa Theatre on the waterfront offers nighttime entertainment. In addition, the East Riding Leisure Centre has a family swimming pool in addition to a number of other indoor pursuits. The charming towns and landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds, the nearby resorts of Filey, Scarborough, and Whitby, and the breathtaking historic coastline are all further away. The rspb bird sanctuary in Bempton, Sewerby Castle, Danes Dyke, and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves are just a few of the attractions in the vicinity. Excellent for bird and environment enthusiasts as well as sightseeing.

Location central to all amenities. Parking permit arranged for you. Comfortable accommodation with pleasant decor. We arrived 23 December and a Christmas tree and mantle decorated which was a lovely surprise. Milk in fridge with tea, coffee, biscuits and doggie treats supplied free of charge. The place to stay in Bridlington

It was warm and comfortable and so close to everything. I particularly enjoyed that it had everything you needed but wasnât cluttered. There is nothing worse than packing your belongings and having to sort what was yours and what was already there. If we were to make any suggestions for improvement it was the shower could be more powerful and the mattress (as comfortable as it was) was prone to you both rolling into each other in the middle. We also bleached the cups whilst we stayed, they seemed to stain so easily (but maybe thatâs just my personal preference to not like stained cups) I dare say that would have been done when we left. Overall a great stay

The location is very good and close to all the amenities. We were able to park directly opposite the flat. Would go back and the weather made for a great break
