A lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful location-just what I needed! The cottage is beautiful-overlooking a pond (actually, literally "in the pond") and is comfortable and spacious with everything you could need. Colin the owner is fantastic-there and happy to help if you need him, but will leave you alone if you don't. Quiet and peaceful location but within easy reach of all the bigger seaside towns on the East Coast-Withernsea, Hornsea, Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby as well as lots of lesser known quieter towns and villages either on the coast or inland. Just home from a lovely relaxing holiday (weather not great but the cottage is so warm and comfortable I wasn't bothered at all) and hope to return again before too long.

We had a nice peaceful relaxing week. The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. Our host Col was lovely and interesting to talk to. We took our dogs, they enjoyed the freedom within the cottage boundaries , although there wasn't much opportunity to walk further as its all minor roads, not real busy but couldnt let dogs run free. We went end of November, weather was quite good really although not summer but still warm. Id reckon it would be lovely here in summer. A bottle of wine on the decking in the sunshine. P.s The bookcase is packed with quality reading books, I got through 2, so if it does rain, you have plenty to read. Brian and Janie.
