This spacious ground-floor period apartment forms part of a semi-detached house built in 1890 in the much favoured Duchy estate of Harrogate. Just a short walk from Harrogate town centre, the property is ideally located for a weekend break spent exploring the historic spa town, or as a comfortable base for a longer stay spent discovering the many delights of North Yorkshire.
Cygnet Apartment has been elegantly furnished and decorated in keeping with the property's late-Victorian architecture.
The apartment comprises of a raised galley style kitchen and dining area set within a bay window overlooking the garden. The large sitting room is suitably grand in style with large leather sofas, a bay window and decorative fireplace. The first of the two bedrooms is a spacious master suite with double bed, adjoining dressing room and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom features two full size single beds and an en-suite shower room. Guests have exclusive access to two of the three sides of the mature garden which wraps around the house. Comfortable garden furniture is provided making al fresco dining on sunny days a must.
The apartment has off-street parking for one car, a real bonus in this popular town. A multitude of independent shops, antique stores, cafes, restaurants and bars are all within easy walking distance. The apartment is also ideally located for delegates attending the town's International Convention Centre and Royal Hall, which are less than a two minute walk from the property.

Great central location. Ground floor apartment with everything needed. Furnishings and decorations charming and period. Off road parking space a real boon.

Excellent communication from the owner, Karen, started things off well. A fabulous welcome pack in the apartment with supplies for breakfast , snacks and treats. Coffee, tea, juice, wine, butter, eggs, bread, milk, jams, crackers, cheese, muesli, cookies and cakes- really lovely thank you. The apartment is superbly furnished and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday-perhaps the best (of very many )that we have been to. There’s no dishwasher (as the well equipped kitchen is compact). It is spotless and decor is elegant. The location is outstanding, being only five minutes walk from the Valley Gardens, Betty’s cafe, M and S and all the many great restaurants that Harrogate has to offer. Parking was good and the street surprisingly quiet. Our only quibble was the very thick duvets in the twin room, though Karen made suggestions to help make us more comfortable. The duvet in the double has detachable parts so you can tailor the warmth with the seasons. Karen kindly helped me when I thought I had left something and was really helpful throughout. I have already recommended Cygnet apartment to many friends and will certainly look to book again should we need a two bedroom in Harrogate again.

Interesting flat, sympathetically converted from the ground floor of the fine detached house. Full of quirky details. Pretty garden. Very conveniently located in Lower Harrogate with the boon of secure off-street parking. Easy to explore Harrogate on foot, with handy buses for the steeper hills. Kitchen is very compact, no dishwasher, small fridge. Generous welcome pack.
