Front and rear patios with garden furniture. Enclosed lawned garden (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced pond in the garden, 2 yards away.. The Farmhouse has a spacious farmhouse kitchen which is the focal point of the house, where guests can gather around the central island and cosy up in winter months in front of the range fireplace. Superbly equipped with all the necessary appliances and accessories. The stylish living room is warm and welcoming, with a wood burner and comfortable sofas and French doors leading out to the patio area. Whether it’s casual dining and a glass of wine in the kitchen, or more formal dining in the dining room, this property caters for your every need. Upstairs the large bedrooms are beautifully furnished with super comfortable beds. The first, a kingsize has a Smart TV and views looking down across the Dales. The second a super kingsize has Smart TV and dual aspect windows with beautiful views and shares a Jack and Jill style bathroom with the third double room. All bedrooms have views over the Dale. There is a luxurious family bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower cubicle.
Outside there are several areas to sit and enjoy the day. To the rear French doors lead out onto a flagged patio area, set with table and chairs where you can sit and watch the horses as they graze in the paddock. There is a further patio area to the front with garden furniture, and a large front lawn which is shared with The Barn. For guests bringing their furry friends the property extends to two paddocks directly across the road which is ideal for dog walking.
Situated in the picturesque village of West Witton and within walking distance of the village store, tea rooms and post office. With its highly acclaimed restaurant The Wensleydale Heiffer a short stroll away this makes a perfect choice for a special celebration. For those looking to explore the great outdoors, there are walks and cycle routes straight from the doorstep. With numerous attractions to visit, the stunning waterfalls at Aysgarth Falls or Hawes with its quirky shops and cafés and the famous Wensleydale Creamery. In the opposite direction visit the picturesque village of Middleham and its famous castle, enjoy the sights as the racehorses ride to and from the gallops each day or sit it in the village square and enjoy a coffee as you watch the world go by. A little further and you will reach the bustling market town of Leyburn with a host of interesting shops, restaurants and cafés all set around the market square and of course Friday is market day and a chance to snap up some of the gorgeous local produce.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. We stayed in the larger house (there is another smaller property on the same plot) which was great. Lovely fire to warm us up after walks in the area, comfy beds. Friendly pub and restaurant a short walk into the little village. A small shop which has most day-to-day items. Perfect for our winter week away... I am sure it will be lovely for a summer break too!

We stayed at the farmhouse for 6 nights, lovely renovation but now needs TLC several of the taps didn’t work properly and the property needed a deep clean draws in bedroom and kitchen were dirty dirty plates and pans also doors in the kitchen were dirty. Lots of cobwebs. The property was dog friendly but the only secure area was a paved patio at the back small which was slippery when wet. The front garden was shared but not secure and a busy road just in front. There was a paddock to use but crossing the road was a challenge also the paddock needed mowing.
