Peasholm is in a lovely situation. Easy access to lovely village via pleasant walks. The garden was great for our wee dog. Lots to explore. The lounge was comfy and pleasant to sit in. I found the kitchen difficult to work in. I enjoy cooking but the layout was awkward to work in. Lack of sockets and the cooker being tucked away caused problems. The step made me nervous. We needed to use the washing machine after an accident with milk all over my husband but we tried everything to get it out of the spin cycle to no avail.Despite instructions in the file re recycling, no recycling bin was provided so we had to visit the household recycling site. Apparently we weren’t meant to do that but they kindly let us use the facilities. The accommodation really needs a good clean in nooks and crannies. There were no basic cleaning equipment provided apart from a hoover so we couldn’t clean up as much as we like to before leaving. Some of the dishes needed washing before use. Newer, fresher bedding on the main bed would be an idea although we always bring our own so it wasn’t an issue for us.

We came home 2 days early, double and single mattresses very uncomfortable, toilet bowl dirty all brown in bottom of pan even bleach wouldn't clean it. Garden seating area could do with tidying up, step near back door a trip hazard needs coloured tape on it to show its there. We used our own towels as supplied ones very rough. Won't be booking again.
