We had a family gathering at the Hay Barn. The cottage was clean ,warm and ideal for a large group . There were lovely walks directly from the cottage with a nearby cafe at a local farm and a pub only 5 min drive which served beautiful meals . We were so impressed we have already booked up for next year .

This is a beautiful home with a huge garden set in the most picturesque countryside. We stayed for our 41st wedding anniversary and our group comprised 6 adults, one 18 month old boy and two dogs. The baby just loved running around in the garden down to the farmers field to look at the sheep. Whilst there we visited Whitby on the train which was great, the two local pubs in Rosedale which were friendly and served nice food and Pickering which is about 20 minutes away.
