A delightful mid terrace cottage situated in The Bay holiday village, just three miles from the seaside town of Filey. This vibrant accommodation is neatly furnished and perfect for families or couples to enjoy. Wander inside to the tastefully furnished open plan sitting area, hosting cosy sofa's; and through to French doors which take you outside to the lovely patio. A well equipped kitchen holds the basics you need to prepare your favourite meals, before sitting down with friends in the dining area. This property also benefits from a cloakroom for all your shoes and outdoor gear. Up the stairs into a double bedroom is with soft bedding, dressing tables and a wardrobe. You are sure to wake up feeling refreshed come the morning. Moving round, a twin bedroom is layered with pretty décor, so you can look forward to peaceful evenings, and maybe read a book before drifting into a good nights sleep. An elegant bathroom is complete with classic features and a touch of detail, perfect for getting ready for the day ahead. The Bay holiday village is a delightful resort with lots of facilities, great for all the family. Why not spend an evening at The John Paul Jones public house which serves excellent meals, Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant with great pizza and pasta and a pharmacy. The leisure complex includes a swimming pool and a paddling pool for little ones. There is a steam room and sauna and on the first floor a gymnasium all of which is included in the rental. There are water activities including water walkers and jet scooters for you to enjoy, as well as bicycle hire, a tennis court an archery area and a small play area. There is also a football pitch which is surrounded by wildflower meadows with a fishing lake, a great place for a dog walk. The Bay has direct access to the beach, a 10 minute walk from the front door. Why not adventure into Filey for beautiful sands, individual shops and rock pools to the north. A short drive steers you to the town of Scarborough, home to the Alpamare Waterpark. This is a friendly cottage in a wonderful location.
Filey is a traditional seaside resort promoting a peaceful holiday. The town continues to hold much of its existing character, with individual shops and narrow paths. Resting on the North East Coast, Filey has enjoyed a reputation of being a resort since Victorian times, set beside Filey Bay, a long stretch of beautiful sand. Filey Brigg and its shallow rockpools lie to the north. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are a selection of gardens close by.
