Love the property. The bay is a wonderful place to have a holiday. However I’m sorry to have to comment on the negatives I had to rectify a couple of issues that were evident to me while staying there. Take the arm off the dishwasher and remove the scale that was blocking the holes. Add the salt granules as it was clearly empty. The extractor fan was dripping with grease and dropping into the pans. So I had to clean both and soak them. The sofas had no cushions which would have been very nice to have. The pillows on the bed were terrible they have had their day. I had to go out and buy some decent quality ones. The cheap quality of the quilts were very evident leading to poor sleep. Not expecting in such a beautiful holiday home.

We had a brilliant week’s stay.I have never stayed anywhere that was so well equipped the owner thought of everything it was like being at home. The kids and the dog were well looked after as well. We will be booking again. Thank you from Julie John Beryl and Nora ( the dog ).

A fantastic location on a beautiful holiday village, it was super quiet and the site had great signage for footpaths etc down to the beach. The house itself is lovely. A great plot with all that you need. Love the items under the stairs to make our dogs stay easier - including the tap hose to attach to the outside hot and cold taps - perfect to wash off our sandy dogs before heading back in for a comfy evening. Loved the lamps and comfy sofas downstairs. The bedrooms are lovely, and the bathroom was fab - great water pressure!A few comments in the 'fixes' book that we agreed with, and understand how hard (and frustrating) it must be for owners to look after the property when people rag things. My thoughts would be to have simpler fixtures and fittings that are less likely to be broken - like basic roller blinds... My partner fixed the previously broken Roman blind in the bathroom. The handles on bifold door have been ragged so much some are completely broken. Such a shame and not a cheap fix I'm sure! Bog standard patio doors might prevent this?It was clean and tidy but a few small tweaks could make it even better. The biggest issue we had was the top blade of the dishwasher was completely clogged - meaning all pots in the top wrack didn't get cleaned and I had to hand wash items. I left a note about it in the 'fix book'. This didn't impact our short stay and we'd love to return one day.
