Set in 2 acres of landscaped and natural gardens, these two single-storey holiday properties have been converted to a very good standard and retain many original features. Offering identical accommodation, they lie just 1 mile from the elegant traditional seaside town of Filey with its annual fishing festival , and over 5 miles of white sandy beaches sheltered by the rugged grandeur of Filey Brigg. Scarborough, 6 miles, also has beaches, theatres, shops and museums, and there is easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors National Parks, as well as many historic abbeys, castles and market towns to visit. Shops and pub 1 mile.

Wold View cottage was clean comfortable and well equipped . The secure garden was excellent for the dog . Close to all the amenities in Filey and the Cleveland Way for great cliff walks . We would definitely recommend this property .

There was a mix up with our booking at wold view we ended up staying next door at Magpie pie cottage, this was fine as the elderly couple were lovely and we all decided to stay where we were, on arrival we had been left some milk and a bottle of wine this was a nice touch, the location for the cottage is brilliant, less than a mile to Filey beach which is very dog friendly, also a walk away from the Zoo this is also dog friendly, the local pubs that are in the guest book are good for food too and all dog friendly.The cottage offers a safe enclosed small garden for your dogs so this puts your mind at ease ,it’s very quiet with lovely scenery that backs into a caravan park, you can walk your dog round the park. We felt the only disappointment was the en suite bathroom it smells very musty and damp, there was a de humidifier in the room but we thought nothing of it at the time. Overall the cottage was very spacious with everythink you need, and is dog friendly.

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location had everything we needed and dog friendly really good bath and shower comfortably beds well equipped kitchen also little rabbits running around outside was lovely watching them hopping and jumping lovely welcoming bottle of wine and milk was appreciated would highly recommend this cottage as everything you need we are definitely going to return it is so nice for a relaxing break and the host are a really nice couple
