Really enjoyed our stay Lovely accommodation except the settee was really uncomfortable and the central heating very noisy in the bedroom as it came on and off at all hours and lastly why all the cushions didn’t know where to put them all but would definitely go back

A great place to use as a base, with Whitby a great town to explore (make sure you look down every alley way) there’s always something of interest. I must mention the Quay restaurant, the staff are superb, with a great knowledge of allergies, nothing seems to be to much trouble for them.Whitby is a great place to stay, explore or relax just totally enjoyable. As a southerner, Yorkshire people are pretty friendly too.

An honest review👍, The First Port of Call was superb.beautifully presented, clean with everything you need.Tea,Coffee,Sugar and biscuits👌provided just bring milk👍 Kitchen had everything you need and bathroom and shower was all nice and clean and perfectly adequate. I have read some reviews saying the shower was too small but to be honest it’s wasnt huge however it all really depends on how big the person is in it🤔🤔.Smart TV in lounge with a bed settee and a lovely breakfast table in the bay window to start the day on. All in all a lovely apartment and excellent value.Location wise it was pretty much spot on for Whitby, the beach was 5 mins walk away and Whitby bay, pubs and restaurants about 10 mins walk. Train and bus station about the same. Only thing to be aware of is parking. Whitby is a busy, poplar seaside resort and even though you get parking scratch cards provided, which again is excellent, expect to double park and unload before searching for a space and you may have to park up a little way from the apartment.Tried to be as honest as possible but The First Port of Call is absolutely lovely and was an absolute pleasure to stay there. We look forward to returning soon👍
