We had a lovely stay at A Perfect View in Whitby. The apartment was spotless, and we really appreciated the little touches such as shampoo, soap, and milk sachets, which meant we didn’t have to dash to the shops straight away. Our youngest was delighted with the drawer of toys and games – it kept him happily occupied in the evenings before bed.The location was fantastic – just a five-minute walk from the main road, with brilliant shops right on our street. The welcome pack from the owner was also a nice touch, giving us helpful recommendations for local places to eat and visit. And as the name suggests, the views from every window were just beautiful.A couple of things to note: the beds in the twin room were very creaky, so our two boys in the twin room kept waking each other up whenever they moved. The main bed had a lovely frame, but it wasn’t ideal for my 6ft 2 husband, as the wooden frame at the foot meant he couldn’t stretch out fully. We were also in Flat 5, and the guests in the flat above were quite noisy – nothing outlandish, but with thin floors we could hear every movement and doors closing, which made it tricky to sleep at times.Overall, a lovely place to stay in Whitby with thoughtful touches, a great location, and stunning views.

The flat is aptly named, the views are stunning. The location is very central for Whitby, and the accommodation is very spacious and comfortable with excellent separation of the living and sleeping areas. There is no dishwasher, which might be an issue for families staying for a longer period. We enjoyed our stay, with one exception. There was a lot of noise from the upstairs flat with people moving around from 5.30 am which woke us up. It was the sound of footsteps and general moving around, the soundproofing between the flats is poor.
