The picturesque town of Holgate, which is close to the River Ouse, is located on the outskirts of the energetic city of York in North Yorkshire. This area, which also includes a wide range of services including stores and restaurants where you can stock up on needs or treat your loved ones to a hearty lunch, is home to the York Cold War Bunker. The National Railway Museum York, Museum Gardens, The York Dungeon, and York Art Gallery are all excellent places to learn about the history and culture of the area while you visit York.
