Some guests noted minor issues with kitchen equipment, outdoor maintenance, and light or noise from the nearby road, but overall, the property offers a welcoming and enjoyable stay.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, especially the bathrooms and living areas. However, a few mentioned issues such as kitchen cupboards needing attention and a stained bedsheet, suggesting occasional lapses.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to local attractions, transport links, and amenities such as supermarkets and pubs. Some guests noted road noise, but overall, the setting is considered a major asset.

Comfortable accommodation in a good location for walks and visiting attractions in the region. Good food at some of the local pubs/hotels and cafes. Large supermarket a few minutes drive or walk. Likewise, even closer is a farm shop with cafe.

Lovely cottage, felt at home immediately after arrival. Much larger than expected from the photos on the website. Well equipped and very comfortable. Ideal location to visit Dales and Moors, most places we wanted to reach were within a 30 minute drive. Lots of good books, could have stayed there and read for the holiday. Also walking distance to a good farm shop and big supermarket

We had a nice stay at Lodge Yard Barn and would recommend. It was very clean and tidy and very well laid out. There is a lack of cupboard space in the main bedroom but a good sized wardrobe in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms very nice though. Bathroom facilities were very good and it was a warm cosy place. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of equipment, plates etc. The lounge area was small but comfortable and an idea would be to include an occasional table so guests can put drinks, food on it if they wished. Just a thought. We would stay again and recommend a visit. The pub opposite served lovely food. A minor technical issue was dealt with promptly by the owner, which was good.
