This is a fabulous cottage in a great location to explore the local area. The cottage is really well equipped and spotlessly clean. The heating is controlled by a thermostat and we also made us of the log burner which was lovely in the evenings. We had our own Springwatch this week. At least one badger came every night. A hare also came into the garden. We spent hours in the conservatory watching all the birds. Finches, woodpeckers, sparrows, great tit's. I could see from the guest book that there were a few returning guests and I could see why.

Cottage was visually nice but heating controls locked and a lot of buzzing noise from lights and blu ray player in sitting room so not very friendly if you have sensory issues. Nice cottage just not ideal for me.

We had a wonderful stay. It was just our kind of setup. The whole area is well worth a visit. A rural location with April flowering gorse and blackthorn. Pretty views from every window and some good wildlife. We had hares crossing through the garden and badgers visited every night. We identified five individuals. The house was comfortable and well equipped. We didn't experience any difficulties and would certainly consider another visit in the future. As an artist I'm sure I'll be using some of the reference photos I gathered for future paintings.
