Marwhirn cottage ( or Marwhin according to listing) was a fabulous country house, beautifully decorated and with a fantastic art collection. It was in a good location to explore the hills and coast of Dumfries and Galloway. Helpful housekeeper. The only thing which marred our stay was the excesive communication from Cottages with a total of 9 emails, 7 of which were not needed.
