Another lovely holiday at the Kippford Stables. The accommodation is very comfortable and comes with it's own parking bay. There are plenty of places to visit that are nearby Dalbeattie and Castle Douglas are both within a short drive if you want to go further, then Dumfries and Kirkcudbright are both worth a visit.

We have had another fabulous holiday at The Kippford Stables Cottage. This was our third visit to Kippford Stables and it has never disappointed. It's a lovely cottage with lots of space on the inside and great outdoor facilities. We are already planning our next visit!!

We stayed in Kippford. It's a quiet, lovely seaside location, it's a great base to explore towns all within a short journey by car. New Abbey, Dalbeattie and Castle Douglas are all a short drive away. Dumfries and Kirkcudbright are a bit further afield, but both are worth a visit. For those who are interested in nature can find the Mersehead nature reserve within a 15 minute drive from Kippford. From Kippford village there is a lovely walk to nearby Rockcliffe village. We would thoroughly recommend a visit to Kippford or anywhere in Dumfries and Galloway.
