Situated close to Loch Leven, Carness West was built to take full advantage of the breathtaking mountain views, with first floor panoramic windows and doors leading to two spacious balconies. Despite its seclusion, the house is ideally located for all outdoor activities including hill walking, climbing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, skiing, fishing and kayaking. There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen in this stunning location. Locally there are craft shops, tea rooms and a visitor centre. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile.

Excellent holiday. Comfortable, roomy house in beautiful surroundings. Living up in the tree canopy was perfect, with all the woodland birds, hard to keep up with filling the feeders. Pine Marten visit was the star attraction. Good area for wildlife including two Golden Eagles. One of the best holiday cottages we have had.

Amazing location with ample hiking trails, close to Ben Nevis. Amazing views from the house thanks to its many windows on the upper floor and its lovely open kitchen/ living space. Extra comfort in front of the wood burning stove. Thank you to our hosts.
