Please note: The sea is 55 yards away from the property.. Market Stance is a bungalow set outside the quiet village of Glenelg. There are beautiful uninterrupted views from the living room, kitchen/dining room and the master bedroom of Skye, the beach and Glenelg Bay. Guests can relax on the comfy sofas in the living room, where there is also use of a high power telescope and a desk with a light whilst working remotely. The kitchen has a dining area with chairs and patio doors lead out to the covered patio. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the master bedroom enjoys views of the sea and Isle of Skye. Outside you can relax and enjoy the covered patio area where you can drink in the amazing views, with the sea just yards away.

Market Stance was everything I hoped it would be and more. Fantastic location, gorgeous views and silence. The house was very clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything I needed. The garden was perfect as it was enclosed and kept my Jack Russell from escaping. I’ve had a wonderful holiday and already booked for next year.

Well what can I say? Market Stance is in the most fabulous setting. Picture postcard views from the front & to be honest the view from the back was pretty magnificent too. I didn't realise watching the Skye ferry reach Kylerhea from the settee in the lounge would be so captivating!The house is great - spacious, clean, comfortable, everything you could possibly need for a home from home holiday. Towels, bedding, beds - no complaints here.If you're apprehensive about the long drive down a single track road as I was, then rest assured it's not that bad. There are plenty of passing places & some sections are quite wide. I did try to be hospitable to other drivers in regard to letting them overtake me as quite frankly they have somewhere to be too.The directions how to reach the house, access into the property etc was great. We also appreciated the goody basket of local products on arrival.I would recommend taking the turn table ferry to Skye for the experience if nothing else. Who knew watching the sheep pass by the house multiple times a day would take up so much of the holiday! We saw a couple of seals from the house which also entertained us for some time & plenty of bird life. Alas, no eagles but there's always next time. Speaking of which, we have booked again for next year!

Just spent a week at Market Stance which is in a stunning location. Wonderful views of Skye and plentiful wildlife in the bay. We were fortunate enough to see otters on two occasions the seals were daily visitors and a we also spotted white tailed eagle near the ferry. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, spacious and warm with everything you would need for a perfect holiday. Would definitely recommend and we were sad to leave but we will be returning one day.
