Being only a 1½ mile walk to The Old Man of Storr, The Bay is unique in being the closest holiday cottage to the world-famous sight. Other world-famous spots are only a short drive away, such as The Quiraing, Brothers’ Point, An Corran beach where dinosaur footprints can be found, Fairy Glen, Duntulm Castle and of course charming Portree. Enjoy a break away on the Trotternish Peninsula where The Bay is situated, alternatively Skye has three other famous peninsulas as well as the Cuillin Mountains to explore. You will wish you had booked for longer. Shop, pub and restaurant 8 miles.

We had a wonderful week at The Bay. Best was the awesome view from everywhere inside as well as outside of the nice, little but excellent equipped cottage.

What an amazing place to stay.To repeat what others have said the bed is so comfortable which is always a gamble on holiday.There everything in the cottage you could need.The only suggestion I would have would be maybe a few more hooks as we were blessed with the Scottish rain for the week and struggled to hang our coats up so we weren’t dripping through the cottage.A 100 % would come again!!
