A very special cottage in a great location within the village of Portknockie. The owners have given a great deal of thought regarding what visitors are looking for in a holiday rental.We particularly appreciated the quality of the furnishings which were contemporary and very comfortable. One criticism is that the bath towels were small and we would have preferred bath sheets. We would definitely recommend Jock McMuffin cottage and we’re already looking at a return visit!

We loved the cottage ! The best we have ever stayed in. The photos really don't do it justice. Furnished to a high standard it's hard to choose which part of the cottage is best. The bathroom is large and well equipped as is the kitchen,both beautiful.We liked it so much as a base for exploring the Moray Coast we have booked another week in September
