Guests say

Strathlene Lodge is highly praised for its excellent location with stunning views and proximity to the beach, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and the added touch of a telescope. The presence of seals and gorgeous sunsets add to the charm. However, concerns about the unsecured garden near a busy road are noted, especially for those with pets or children. Despite this, the property is well-regarded for its cleanliness, comfort, and facilities, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The lodge is consistently described as clean and immaculate, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciate.

The location is frequently highlighted for its spectacular views, proximity to the beach, and suitability as a touring base, despite the busy road mentioned by some reviewers.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of cosy interiors and comfortable beds, contributing to a pleasant stay.

The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, with all necessary appliances and amenities. The mention of a telescope is a unique feature. However, the lack of a secure garden is a recurring concern.

While guests are pleased with the facilities and amenities provided, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

lovely house in a great spot for walks from the door and a good centre for reaching all areas.

Had a brilliant holiday. Cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the area. Beds very comfortable, views spectacular. Owner has even gone to the trouble of putting a telescope up in the bedroom. Only downside is that the garden is not secure, and the cottage is on a busy road. If you have a dog or young children that could be an issue. Would book again in the future
